Connect SolarEdge HD Wave to WiFI

Before starting make sure the red switch underneath your inverter is in the 0 position. Once the Wifi is connected, flick the switch back to the I position to start the inverter.

1. Ensure you have working internet at home (either ADSL or NBN)
2. Note down your home network's name (also known as the SSID) and the password
3. Go to your inverter and hold the "OK" button for 5 seconds (do not hold for more than 10 seconds)
4. The display screen will light up and will request the password
5. Using the "Up", "Down" and "OK" keys, enter the password: 12312312 (Press the "Up" button for 1, Press the "Down" button for 2, Press the "OK" button for 3)
6. Another menu page will show up after you have entered the password
7. Use the "Up" or "Down" arrow key to select "Communication" and press the "OK" button
8. Use the "Up" and "Down" arrow key to scroll until you reach the menu option "Wifi Conf", then press the "OK" button
9. On the next screen, use the "Up" or "Down" arrow keys to scroll to "Scan Network", then press the "OK" button
10. The inverter display will then show "Scanning" and in a few moments, will show all the available networks that the inverter has found and can be connected to.
11. Using the "Up" or "Down" arrow keys to scroll, select your home network's name and then press the "OK" button
12. The display will then ask for a password for the selected network
13. The password can be entered using the "Up" and "Down" arrow keys. Please do this slowly and with patience as the alphanumeric characters and numbers will go from alphabet (lower case) to digits to special characters to alphabet (upper case).  After every password character is selected, press the "OK" button to move on to the next character
14. Once the password has been entered, press the "OK" button for 5 seconds and you should see a "Connected" message.

The setup is now complete.
