Flow graph explained
The blue dot animation will show the flow of power
- Top Left - solar panel production connected directly into the SkyBox
- Middle Left - solar panel generation from an externally connected solar inverter
- Battery: Negative = Charging / Positive = Discharging
- Grid import or export power. Negative = Import (Buying) / Positive = Export (Selling)
- House Consumption - calculation of house loads that are not backed up
- House Back-Up Loads - calculation of house loads that are backed up and will stay on during a blackout
Off-Grid
Off-grid systems function similarly; however, all loads are presented as UPS loads, and the grid symbol is labeled 'Off-Grid'.
Why is there is a negative number on the battery?
Negative numbers mean the battery is charging
Positive numbers mean the battery is discharging
What is a UPS
UPS stands for Uninterrupted Power Supply; these loads are the measurement of what is on the backup circuits
Why doesn't the number add up exactly?
The online monitoring updates every 10-15 minutes, and with each update, it collects data points individually. Due to rapid fluctuations in power, it may not capture the data at the precise moment when the power flow matches the exact wattage, resulting in a slight variance in the data displayed by the online monitor. For real-time updates, refer to the device's physical screen.
