Enable an Existing System

When the Sungrow inverter is installed with an additional solar system and inverter on site, Existing System needs to be enabled so the inverter can detect export and charge the battery.

If this setting is not enabled, the inverter will put out a 084 fault.

To enable this settings, follow the steps below.

1. Press Ent to enter the Menu (Pressing Ent once will bring on the backlight, pressing it again will enter the menu)
2. Select "Settings"
3. Password "111"
4. Select "Existing Inverter" > Enable
5. Existing Inv Rated-P > This is the size of your existing inverter (usually 5000)
6. Total Feed-In Limit > This is your export limit for the entire system (usually 5000)
7. Once set, press ESC until the system asks you to "Press Ent to save"

The existing system is now enabled. A PDF checklist is also attached to review if required.
