1. Is there a cable between the Cerbo (Victron) and the AC Coupled inverter?
When AC coupling an inverter, there is no cable connection between the Cerbo and the inverter, the AC Coupled inverter is controlled via frequency shifting.
2. Do I need to do anything with the install?
No, wire the AC cable into the allocated spot in the SkyBox switchboard and it is complete.

4. Can I monitor the AC coupled inverter?
Yes - however, the AC coupled inverter needs to be on the same WiFi network as the SkyBox.

- If SMA - the following settings need to be configured
- Device Parameters
- External Communication
- TCP - Activate
- UDP - Activate
- If Fronius, nothing is required.
If all of the above is complete, on the SkyBox screen, check:
- Settings
- PV Inverters
- Scan > Wait until 100%
- Inverters > Your inverter should show up on the screen, if the system is off-grid, change the Position to ACOUT
- If SMA - the following settings need to be configured

When commissioning, select Island Mode 50hz as the grid code
Fronius GEN24 Settings
The following may need to be done when using a GEN24 inverter, if it appears as a Tauro in the Cerbo, do the following
As Technician, log into the Fronius web interface.
Go to the Safety and Grid Regulations tab
Go to the Country Setup
Set Grid Code to Microgrid 50Hz
Go to the Safety and Grid Regulations tab
Go to the I/O Power Management tab
Set position 1 of Controlling Priorities to Modbus Control
Go to the Communications tab
Go to the SolarAPI tab
Set Communications via API
Go to the Communications tab
Go to the Modbus tab
Set Data export via Slave as Modbus TCP.
Set Sunspec Model Type to int + SF
Log on to CerboGX Remote Console
Go to Menu tab
Go to Services tab
Set Modbus on TCP
